Founders Day was celebrated at all three schools in September, the birth month of our Founder Chairman O V Alagesan.

51st Founders Day celebrations in Coonoor kicked off with a Science Exhibition, bringing the innovative minds of our students to the fore. The unique working models showcased their creativity and impressed all the visitors. “Best out of waste” and “Do it yourself” were the highlights of the exhibition.

In Athur, a visual treat with the theme “Enriching the Future” enthralled the parents and guests. Prizes were given away to meritorious students. Babu Rajendran, chief guest, spoke about the importance of instilling values so future generations can effectively serve the nation.

In Kodaikanal, junior students visited a senior citizen home and a polio home, bringing cheer to the residents. Senior students organised a rally through the town center. Students, teachers and employees of Kodaikanal Municipality participated, giving voice to the urgent message of “Reduce, Recycle, Reuse” and abstaining from single use plastics. Raja Govindasamy led a well received seminar on parenting for our parents.
